David Tristram will be creating live visual art with Rick Walker's extraordinary lineup of acapella vocalists and effects processing maniacs Tuesday, May 8th at the Rio Theatre in Santa Cruz. Rick is planning a very special show featuring a variety of vocal styles including pop, avante garde, opera, tuvan overtone singing and human beatbox. The vocalists' music will be processed by an equally adventurous group of electronicats doing looping, pitch conversion, distortion, and random modulations to create what promises to be a very fun and stimulating experience for the audience.
David will be using the latest version of ElectroPaint
™ and recently shot digital video footage to support and enhance the show as only he can. Keep your eyes peeled for new particle effects and multi level tripography pulsing in a highly rhythmic and flowing visual framework.The Rio Theatre is located at the corner of Seabright and Soquel.
